Welcome to the ACPA Online

Our Mission

The American Chiropractic Physician Association strives to improve the quality, safety, and affordability of health care for all Americans-all fifty states and the District of Columbia.  One mission-One nation!

The goal of the American Chiropractic Physician Association (ACPA) is to avoid having a two-tiered chiropractic profession in the near future.  We do see the need for additional pharmacology and minor surgery training for chiropractors to produce primary care physicians that meet the needs of patients today and tomorrow.  It is our belief that if all health care providers worked together patient outcomes would improve.

The ACPA was created to produce a stronger, more unified voice among chiropractic physicians. Thus allowing "DC's" to have a greater influence in the medical community, the insurance industry, the fifty states, the District of Columbia, and the federal government.  Our goal is to help develop "DC's" into true primary care physicians with a broad scope of practice in the United States. It is our belief that the leaders of our profession have recently been forced on the defensive. We see the need to be on the offensive, by means and tactics, if we are going to move forward and evolve as a profession.
